Whitney Mulqueen, Life Insurance Agent

About Me

As a Specialized Life Insurance Broker, I take a personal, hands‑on approach with every client I serve. No two families, financial situations, or long‑term goals are the same — and your coverage shouldn’t be either. I work closely with each individual to understand their unique needs, desires, and challenges, then match them with life insurance solutions that truly work for them. My focus is always on protecting what matters most: your assets, your future, and the people you love.

Education is at the heart of my process. I make sure my clients clearly understand the differences between Whole Life, Universal Life, Term Life, and Indexed Universal Life so they can make confident, informed decisions. I partner only with established, reputable companies — including Mutual of Omaha, Sagicor, and Foresters — organizations with long histories of financial strength and integrity. These are not fly‑by‑night carriers; they are dependable institutions that stand behind their policies and their clients.

Beyond life insurance, I also work with carefully vetted companies offering safe, fixed annuity options designed to protect your money from market volatility while often earning higher interest than traditional bank CDs. My goal is always to help you build security, stability, and peace of mind. If you’re looking for a dedicated, educated, and trustworthy broker who will take the time to understand your goals and guide you with clarity, compassion, and expertise — let’s talk. Hi, I’m Whitney, and I’m here to make sure your coverage truly fits your life.

Q&A with Whitney Mulqueen

Can I name multiple beneficiaries on my life insurance policy?

Answer: Absolutely! You can have a main beneficiary and as many contingent beneficiaries as you want! You can also decide on the % each beneficiary is to receive as well as contingent beneficiaries.

I have some amazing Life Insurance companies that I work with that offer clients much more than just life insurance for their premiums. I also have Annuities that pay a much higher % than CDs right now.

What should you do with your life insurance policy when you retire?

Answer: Depending on the type of life insurance someone has, the benefits can work very differently in retirement. Universal Life policies can build cash value, which grows tax‑deferred and can be used as an additional financial resource later in life. Other policies may focus more on protection, so it’s important to understand what you have and how it can support you moving forward.

How does life insurance work for self-employed people and small business owners?

Answer: It all depends on how your business is structured. Are you an LLC or an "S" Corp? Do you have employees? I would need more information to answer this question.
