Do I need to meet a life insurance agent in person, or can everything be done over the phone or online?
Answered by 4 licensed agents
That said, some carriers or states might have requirements on how a form is signed, or whether they'll even allow an electronic application.
The more important issue is that the agent needs to be licensed in the state of your residence, which becomes more important when dealing either through texts, emails, video meetings, etc, as the odds increase you'll speak with a non-resident agent if you're working primarily through digital means.
